Book launch success for The Outskirts of His Glory
Friends, family and readers came together for the launch of South African book.
Around sixty people gathered together to celebrate the official launch of Anna Jensen’s new book The Outskirts of His Glory.
Guests were treated to a reading by the author and refreshments in the South African sunshine. Anna Jensen also sold and signed copies of the book.
All who attended this fabulous celebration had a wonderful time, but Anna mentioned that the highlight for her came from a compliment she received from a waitress working at the venue!
She explained, “I’d been speaking about dreams, and how sometimes they’ve been buried for years and we think nothing’s ever going to happen, but in God’s timing it will. Read my poem ‘The Farmer’s Reward’, about letting a seed fall into the ground and die, before we can see it flourish and be fruitful. Anyway, she had been listening to me talking and said how much that had meant to her as she’s had lots of dreams that haven’t come to anything etc and she felt very encouraged. That’s what it’s all about!”
