Howard Webber speaks to Chick Yuill on Premier Christian Radio
Award-winning author and retired Salvation Army minister, Howard Webber, speaks about sharing Jesus with others and writing Christmas poetry, in his interview on Premier Christian Radio.
Howard shares a little of his background as a Salvation Army Officer and how that came about, after coming to know Jesus at seven years old, which birthed a desire for him to see others know Him too. He recalls the promise that he made as a new Salvation Army Officer.
“I will bind myself to the Lord in a solemn covenant. To love and serve him supremely all my days. To live to win souls and make their salvation the first purpose of my life.”
Howard talks about the church group that he and his wife led, and some of the important lessons that God taught him about sharing the love of Jesus through not only his own struggles, but the challenges that others face that seemed to exceed his own.
The interview concludes with a discussion about Howard’s books – his previous books on evangelism and, of course, his latest new book of Christmas poetry, Gift Beyond Measure.
