…the power to transform and revive both individual and corporate expressions of love for God.
About the Author
John Clements grew up in a Christian home and his relationship with the Lord began at an early age. He has been involved in churches and in church music since childhood, as were both his parents, to whom he owes a great deal.
He has been privileged to serve the Lord in various capacities over several decades, in the UK and beyond, including oversight of worship, eldership, responsibility for oversees mission, and as co-leader of a community church. More recently he and his wife helped to set up a facility which was dedicated solely to worship – a place where anyone could come and spend time worshipping the Lord. It was in this context that much of the inspiration for the material in this book began to unfold, as the Lord ‘inhabited’ the praises of His people.
The author’s passion for worship and love of quality music combine in this book as he encourages us to ensure that our offerings of worship are worthy of the One Who paid such a high price for our salvation.
Endorsements and Reviews
The Worship Alliance
In this book, John Clements highlights energetic seeds which (if received into fertile soils rather than places trodden down by convention) have the power to transform and revive both individual and corporate expressions of love for God.
It’s pages will encourage apostles to re-examine founding principles; prophets to gain a wider context for what they see; evangelists to be motivated by the worship-potential in every human being; pastors to re-connect with the biblical direction of travel and teachers to search beneath the commonplace.
All individuals that comprise the biblical priesthood can find clarity here regarding the over-arching purpose of their lives whilst discovering that the keys to physical, mental and spiritual health, set out long ago in the scriptures, can hold true for them personally today.
For those who seek more than the acquisition or affirmation of knowledge, this book will enlighten an exciting journey of discovery towards “God with us”.

This book challenged and at times shocked my concepts of what worship was, and indeed what it wasn’t! It was inspiring and at times surprising – a great in-depth read
which anyone involved in worship should not miss.
When the Israelites were following the Ark in the wilderness (see Joshua
chapter 3) they were told their route would be one they had not taken before.
