Successful book launch event for ‘Unjustified Joy’
Author Leah Jeffery shared her inspiring story through chronic illness at her book launch event in Exeter on Saturday.
This weekend friends, family and readers gathered at Rediscover Church to celebrate Leah Jeffery’s book ‘Unjustified Joy’. Leah shared about her powerful journey through chronic illness and encouraged those attending to hold on to hope throughout their own storms.
Guests were treated to delicious refreshments, engaging activities, and inspiring conversation. For aspiring writers, you may want to see this site to get your own book off the starting block. Sometimes all you need is a little inspiration and help to get yourself out into the world like Leah did.
The event was also an opportunity to raise funds for The National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS). Their work greatly impacted Leah through her diagnosis and treatment for Ankylosing Spondylitis and her hope is that by supporting their work, they’ll be able to help more suffers of AS.
Leah commented, “The book launch was such a great opportunity to share more about the heart behind the book, promote a fabulous charity (National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society) and most importantly thank God for his faithfulness in my life. Having friends and family there made it a real time of celebration!”
