About the Author
Mike de Vetter
Mike de Vetter is an author from Whangarei, New Zealand and is the husband of Amy and father to Rosie, Josiah and Zoe.
He has written six children’s books so far, including the Fur and Feathers series as well as two Prince and Princess Books recently released.
Mike and Amy are Lead Pastors of Elim Christian Centre Whangarei, a campus location of Elim Christian Centre. Within the church community they have a passion to see generations working together to build healthy and godly families. This includes helping children discover their gifts and purpose at a young age so they have the confidence to live a life of purpose.
Mike has worked with children for over 30 years in children and youth roles within Church as well as football coaching.
He still laces up the boots every season, playing football for his local club and trying to keep up with his son Josiah on the football pitch. Mike also loves to paint, with landscapes and NZ native birds his favourite.
